Salman-Asin turning enemies?

So much was talked about Salman Khan-Asin Thottumkal jodi during the shooting of London Dreams abroad. It was reported that their chemistry had affected his relationship with girlfriend Katrina Kaif. The latest we hear is that they have turned enemies.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that all is not well between Salman and Asin. It all started after the actor completely ignored his co-star at an event which was meant for promoting their film London Dreams. He didn't even acknowledge her presence and left without speaking a word to her.

It is said that Salman had a cold on the day when the joint interview took place. In spite of his ill health, he used to come to the venue where the promotional event was supposed to take place. Assuming that the joint interview would take place then and there, Asin sat beside him. But sadly, he ignored her completely.

Asin would not miss her parents anymore, for she has been made to feel much comfortable by the B-Wood people around her. Asin, who had recently shifted to a building complex in Versova, was said to be received with a hearty welcome from the ever-young actress Sridevi, who is residing in the same complex.

Even the tall and elegant Tabu is said to share the same locality and Asin remembers the occasion when they first met. "We met at the Filmfare Awards and shared a jacket because the air-conditioning was so strong," she said. It was at the same function where Priety Zinta welcomed her to the industry with a loveable hug.

Asin is reluctant to accept the popular media myth that actresses can’t be friends to each other. She shared several inside stories to prove her friendship with the ladies of the filmdom. She seemed to question, "Do actresses really hate each other? I’ve been lucky in this aspect." The Ghajini heroine shares good friendship with other actresses of her age, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. "At the Femina Miss India contest, where I shared a podium with Sushmita Sen, her daughter Renee sat on my lap for the longest time," Asin revealed.

Industry sources reveal that it's all over between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. And also that the couple has decided to stay friends. Says a source in B-Town, "Salman and Katrina have been having problems for over a month. Though their relationship has hit rough spots before, and they've taken a break from each other, it remains to be seen if this time the split is final.

The couple has been having arguments for some time now but things came to a head about 20 days ago. The couple had a major fight over various issues the main one being Katrina's growing proximity to her Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani (APKGK) co-star Ranbir Kapoor."

A friend close to the actor says, "Initially, Salman didn't pay heed to the Kat-Ranbir rumours. Especially as the actress told him that the Kapoor boy had a crush on her and she wasn't interested in him. But stories carried back by the unit of (APKGK) from Ooty, confirmed his suspicions.

When Salman confronted his girlfriend, she turned around and told him that she didn't question him about his link-up with Asin, so had no business asking her about her friendship with her co-stars." Sources also reveal that Salman (43) has been wanting to get married and have kids, while Katrina (24) feels she's too young to be tied down. "The couple has had many arguments on this subject."

It's a cooling off period between the couple now. The source says, "A few days ago, SalKat had a major fight, though no one knows what the fight was about this time. And they decided to call it quits for some time. Katrina, who has been staying in Salman's Bandra apartment, shifted out to her own one (bought by Salman) on Waterfield Road. Two days ago Salman told his friends that he and Katrina were 'just friends'.

Adds a friend of the actress, "Katrina has been in a low mood for the last couple of days and flew off to Singapore on Wednesday night to shoot for De Dhana Dhan with Akshay Kumar. More than a year ago they had gone through a similar situation, fought and almost broken up but got back together again. This time, their patch-up looks difficult." Katrina Kaif remained unavailable for comment. Sallu denied that anything of the sort took place.

Asin Denies Affair with Salman

Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal has denied having any sort of romantic inclination towards Salman Khan. The Ghajini star added that Salman Khan was her co-star in London Dreams and their relationship was very professional. On the news doing rounds that her bedroom is full of Salman's posters Asin replied that nobody had access to her bedroom and these news reports are baseless.

Rumours started doing the rounds of the tinsel town about Salman's linkup with Asin after the two were often seen mingling around on the sets of London Dreams. Salman would be protective about the southern stars as she was new to Bollywood. Well Asin is the surely the most talked about girl in Bollywood and the most eligible bachelor definitely has reasons to be attracted towards her. After all Salman is 43 and his girl Katrina Kaif seems in no mood to tie the knot with him.
